What is a Sitemap?

A Sitemap is an XML file that tells search engines which pages exist on your website. By submitting a Sitemap, you can:

  • Help search engines discover and index your pages faster
  • Provide information about your website structure
  • Specify the priority and update frequency for each page

Managing Sitemaps in SeoCraft

SeoCraft integrates with Google Search Console API, allowing you to manage Sitemaps directly in the application without accessing the Google Search Console web interface.

📤 Submit New Sitemap

Easily submit new Sitemaps to Google Search Console:

  1. Select your website in the "Search Engine Performance" tab
  2. Enter the Sitemap URL in the "Sitemap Management" section (e.g., sitemap.xml or https://example.com/sitemap.xml)
  3. Click the "Submit Sitemap" button
  4. The system will automatically submit the Sitemap to Google Search Console

🗑️ Delete Sitemap

If a Sitemap is no longer needed or contains errors, you can delete it:

  1. Find the Sitemap you want to delete in the Sitemap list
  2. Click the "Delete" button on the right side of the Sitemap
  3. Confirm the deletion operation

Standard Sitemap Format

Your Sitemap should follow the XML Sitemap protocol. Basic format:
